This unique siren is an effective deterrent thanks to its powerful sound and voice announcement capability . Its voice announcements allow to “warn” the intruder without public disturbance, prompting him to discontinue his actions.

5139 (wired)
Sirenya Mida can be used with any hardwired control panel and with Silenya Top. A rechargeable 12V DC 2.2Ah battery must be placed inside the siren (not supplied). Replace battery at least every 4 years or before when battery is low.

Installation
Outdoor sirens must be installed on a wall and protected from the elements as well as in difficult to reach positions, as they are the first target for tampering. More than one wireless siren can be installed (see control panel) to supply a greater installation flexibility since there are no wiring limitations. The hard-wired version must be installed ensuring that connecting wires are not visible on the outside.

Power Supply
9 V 12 Ah alkaline battery pack. Battery life: over two years without main power supply with standard use.

Tamper protection
Double protective lid, tamper switch against opening and forced removal triggering a 3 minute tamper alarm signal. Excludable tamper alarm for maintenance purposes.

Radio Transmission/Reception
EU compliant Dual Band frequency operations. Range is suitable for device’s intended use.

Monitoring and Testing
Siren may be activated through the control panel for short testing periods. Any displayed sound power decrease is due to an anomaly or the need to change batteries.

Features
This fully wireless siren is controlled by Silenya HT control panels to warn and deter intruders through sounds and voice announcements.
- system arming:
Siren emits 3 short sounds (adjustable volume) while flashing.
- system disarming:
siren emits a short sound (adjustable volume) while flashing.
- pre-alarm during input delay:
siren emits a voice warning that is repeated during entire preset time delay. Example: “Warning, if the system is not disarmed the alarm will be activated”.
- general alarm:
siren sounds at the loudest power level (adjustable volume) for 3 minutes while flashing.
- external “Intruder” alarm:
siren emits a voice warning that repeats for 3 minutes. Example: “Warning, you are trespassing on protected private property – the police force has been alerted – leave immediately”.

- tamper protection: siren is alarmed for 3 minutes and sends tamper signal to the control panel when its housing is opened or detached from the wall and when forceful break-in attempts take place.

- supervision: siren regularly transmits to the control panel its state and battery level. Control panel reports siren’s missing signal within at least 8 hours. Siren reports a low battery level to the control panel and by sounding repeatedly each time system is armed/disarmed.

- incandescent lamp 6V 5W - approximately 40 flashes per minute.

Local signals
Voice messages: one 10-second pre-alarm message and one 20-second external alarm recorded directly on the device.

14 - 14.5 VDC power supply to appropriately charge the battery; with a power use of 5mA (+ battery) on standby, and 2A during an alarm.

Features
1) With alarm trip and alarm counter: Connection with 6 wires - tripped siren with disarmed control panel - during every “arming” phase the alarms trip when the set count is reached.

2) Without alarm trip and without alarm counter: Connection with 5 wires. (+/- power; alarm; tamper protection; visual on-off signal).

N.B. Max duration of each alarm: 3 minutes.
