Receivers for radio expansion

These devices receive radio signals from all Silentron transmitting devices (remote controls, detectors, control panels) outputting various reports based on employed transmitter. Tampering, supervision/low battery and radio interference outputs are available for alarm system expansion applications.

Application
Radio expansion of existing hardwired burglary alarm systems; gates opening, switching on lights remotely controlled by one or more points; various uses which require a wireless connection between one or more transmitting device and a receiver. The choice between the three models depends on the number of required outputs (NC and/or NO).

Installation
Silentron receivers are installed where signal reception is required, therefore within radio range with respect to transmitters, bearing in mind that they feature a built in antenna and cannot operate inside metal housings.

Power Supply
12V DC - variable power use depending on the number of outputs, however, within 70 mA max.

Tamper protection
It signals the opening of the device’s housing (5458-59).

Radio reception
EU compliant Dual Band operations with display of radio signal range. (5051 433 MHz single frequency); all external devices are supervised and feature scanning protection. (5458-59 models - excluded remote controls); Range is suitable for device’s intended use.

Monitoring and Testing
Reception LED indicators displaying received signals (see technical instructions).

Programmable external devices
Up to 32 - in 5458-59 models also with different functions (monostable - bistable - timed).

Outputs 5051
2 - NC dry changeover contacts which may be configured based on their use.

Uscite 5458-5459
4+2 in 5458 only NC, 12+4 in 5459. All outputs are dry and NC or NO programmable, up to 100 mA, with standard 100 Ohm resistance.

Local signals
All main events are displayed through LED lights. The last event may be stored using reset input.
