4080 Bus Concentrator 4+2
4081 Bus Concentrator 6

Expansion interfaces

These devices are 6-input expansion interfaces that allow to use it with different detectors that are not manufactured by us, thereby making them compatible with Sil-Bus. Model 4080 has 4 inputs for active/passive detectors that manage alarm and tamper functions on a balanced line + 2 NC/PULSE inputs. Model 4081 has 6 inputs for active/passive detectors that manage alarm and tamper functions on a balanced line.

Application
When it is necessary to use detection devices other than SilBus.

Installation
The devices are supplied in a housing suited for recessed installation in a 503 housing.
The model 4080 may also be installed, in view, in the housing part (code 88328) along with its plaques (code 88329).
Whereas the model 4081 may be installed at sight in the housing box (code 4081Box).

Tamper protection
Lid-open protection is triggered when the rear inside cover of the device is opened: in order to obtain forced removal protection in the two installation solutions you must install a longer spring (included) on the tamper switch, so that it stays pressed down against the bottom of the 503 housing and/or wall.

Features
The devices are alarm “concentrators” for any type of intrusion detector and can be connected to:

a) 2 NC/PULSE (4080):
- by selecting NC they control one or more normally closed magnetic contacts installed in series, with a 500msec opening alarm;
- by selecting PULSE each one controls a hard-wired window blinds detector operating on a NC/NO switching counter (alarm after 6 switches).

b) 4 inputs (4080) or 6 inputs (4081) for active/passive detectors that manage alarm and tamper functions on a balanced line.

The six types of alarm are managed individually by the control panel, according to programming.
